Penn State Race March 29-30, 2008

>Bucknell Cycling enjoyed its fifth race weekend close to home in State College, Pennsylvania with the Nittany Lion Classic hosted by Penn State. The Classic featured a grueling road race in Black Moshannon State Park Saturday morning, and an Individual Time Trial and technical Criterium in downtown State College on Sunday.

Philadelphia Weekend Sat-Sun, 2-8 March 2008

Bucknell Cycling's second race weekend brought miserable weather, but unstoppable success. The Phoenixville Fury Road Race, feared for two sizable climbs, was transformed into a technical downtown criterium due to dangerous rain and flooding. On Sunday, the team time trial and Philly Flyer circuit race continued in dry but windy conditions. Sunday's races were help in historical Fairmount Park along the Schukyll River. Each year, this weekend is a joint weekend between Easter and Atlantic Conferences, which brings large field sizes and great competition.

Rutgers Season Opener Sat-Sun, 1-2 March 2008

The Bucknell Cycling team stamped its authority at the 3rd annual Bucknell Cycling Classic as the riders collectively scored four separate wins in just two days of racing. The team bested 18 opposing universities to win the overall weekend for Division II schools.
